This is not a photo-to-painting app: you get your photo as a painting, printed in the art style of your choice and placed behind real glass in a black wooden frame. Upload a picture of yourself, your partner, your grandparents or your dog, choose an art style, and our AI creates the painting from your photo in about 30 seconds. You see it in the frame first and only order when it feels right.
The hardest part of a painting of a photo you love is choosing which photo. The rest is quick.
Each style borrows from a period or painter you will recognise:
A portrait from photo works best with a sharp, well-lit picture. A wedding photo, a holiday snap of your parents or a picture of the children can all become a painted portrait. It also works with pets, so the family dog can join the Renaissance. Add a name or a title and check the result on the frame before you order.
Many people looking for a portrait painting from photo or an oil painting from a photo expect to wait weeks for an artist. This works differently. Our AI creates the painting in your chosen style and the printer does the rest, so you see the exact result before ordering. It is a print, not oil on canvas: what you get is the style of the painting, not brushstrokes you can feel.
The painting is set in a black wooden frame with a white mount (passe-partout), behind real glass rather than acrylic. It comes in 30 × 40 cm and 40 × 50 cm, and also as an unframed A3 poster. For an anniversary, a parent's birthday or a new home, it turns a familiar photo into something worth looking at again.
Prefer something to piece together? The same artwork is also available as a painting puzzle.
How can I turn a photo into a painting? Upload the photo, choose one of the 10 art styles and the AI makes the painting in about 30 seconds. After that, we print and frame it for you.
Is it an oil painting? No. It is a printed painting in the style you choose, which lets you see the result before you order.
Can I use a photo of my pet? Yes, the art styles work with pets as well as with people.
Can I add a name to the painting? Yes. Add a name or a short title and you will see it in the preview straight away.
