This is not a line drawing app: you get a family line drawing as a real print, made from your own photo and finished in a black wooden frame with real glass. A few clean lines show the people who matter most: you, your partner, the children. Above them goes your family name, for example "The Jacksons".
Where a colourful photo can feel busy on a wall, a line drawing stays calm. It suits a hallway, a living room or a child's bedroom, and it is a style that does not date.
For a family portrait drawing you need no artist, no sitting and no matching outfits. Choose a photo in which everyone is visible, ideally sharp and well lit. Upload it, choose the line drawing look, and our AI turns the photo into a minimalist drawing in about 30 seconds. Then add your title and see the drawing in the frame before you order.
A minimalist drawing keeps only the essentials, so what stays is the closeness between the people in it.
Plenty of free apps turn a photo into a line drawing on your screen. If you searched for a line drawing from photo to give to someone, the difference is the object itself: a printed drawing with a white passe-partout, framed in black wood behind real glass instead of acrylic. Pick 30 × 40 cm or 40 × 50 cm, or order the drawing unframed, as an A3 poster.
A family line drawing is a natural gift for a housewarming, a wedding, a first Mother's Day or Father's Day, or grandparents who would love all the grandchildren together on one wall. Because the style is so simple, it sits easily next to other pictures in the room.
For an evening around the table, the same drawing also comes as a family line drawing puzzle.
How do I turn a family photo into a line drawing? Upload the photo and choose the line drawing. The AI draws it in about 30 seconds, and we print and frame the result.
Can we put our family name on it? Yes. You add a family name or title on top, like "The Jacksons", and see it in the preview.
Does it also work for a couple or just the children? Yes. The line drawing works for a whole family, for a couple and for children on their own.
Is this a free line drawing app? No. MakeYour makes a printed, framed drawing that you can hang up or give as a gift.
